Meet Our Head Trainer!
Aubrey is a CCTA Certified Dog Trainer (CCDT) and Certified in Dog Training Knowledge (CDTK) through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and also serves as Deputy Dog Warden in Richland County. Her interest in working with dogs began at age 11 when she started volunteering at a local humane society, leading her to further volunteer at the Richland County Dog Warden. Aubrey is the proud owner of two dogs, Barrington and Jasper. It was through adopting Barrington that she became interested in studying dog behavior to help with his reactivity issues.
With 9 years of hands-on experience with dogs and 4 years of training in areas ranging from basic obedience to behavior modification, Aubrey has discovered her passion for working with dogs exhibiting reactive, fearful, or aggressive behaviors. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animal Behavior at Unity Environmental University and is working towards her Fear Free certification.

Testimonials
“When I adopted my dog I was completely overwhelmed, it was my first time owning a reactive dog. I was beyond stressed but starting training with Sally’s Mission was a game changer. Not only has there been a change in my dog’s behavior but I also feel more confident on how to approach my dog’s reactivity. There is no one else I would want to help me train my dog.”

“We were at our wits end with our dog. He was always jumping on guests, barking at every little noise, and pulling on the leash on walks. We started googling local trainers and came across Sally’s Mission, our lives transformed through the education and guidance from each session. We cant recommend Sally’s enough!”

The Johnson Family, Max’s Owners
“Our dog Bella had major issues with anxiety and aggression towards other dogs. We were worried she might never be able to go on walks or go to parks. But Sally’s Mission changed everything for us. Aubrey was so patient with Bella and helped us learn to advocate for her, too. Today, Bella has doggy friends and play dates, walks aren’t an issue anymore and the joyful, loving dog we knew was there all along has come out!”

“We love our dog Milo, but there was a time when we weighed the option of euthanasia. Milo would growl and snap at first when food was involved and eventually bit our child over a bone. We were lost. Sally’s Mission reached out to our rehoming ad and offered discounted training, and we took it as the last hope of keeping our best friend. Sally’s Mission worked patiently with Milo, addressing his aggression in a way that made him feel safe. Today, Milo no longer feels threatened. We could not be more grateful for the generosity from Sally’s Mission in helping us help Milo.”

“Before Charlie we had no idea dogs could have separation anxiety. To our surprise when we came home to ripped blinds, house covered in pillow fluff, and diarrhea covering the floors. We had no idea why or what happened. Sally’s Mission was recommended through our vet, and through the care and understanding from Sally’s we were able to help Charlie learn to love being alone. Charlie is still making improvement and has graduated to longer hours alone. Sally’s Mission provided daily care for a smoother transition to being alone. Sally’s Mission has been a blessing.”

Megan, Charlie’s Owner
“We adopted our dog because we wanted a hiking buddy, but he never seemed to do well with the people on the trails. He would lunge and pull us down when someone would approach. Sally’s Mission popped up on our facebook and thats when we started to learn how to help our dog. Sally’s Mission was understanding and helped us feel less embarrassed when he would loose it. Now on walks he is able to sit and watch them, even walk towards them while looking at us. Hes a completely different dog and training has been the best thing to happen to our family.”

Our Story
Why “Sally’s Mission”?
“I Get asked this quite a lot, this is why. Sally was one of the first cases I took on. She showed so much success and challenged me as a professional, forever grateful. Sally and her mom were attacked by off-leash dogs on 3 separate occasions. Sally, who loved everything, turned into a little lady who was sensitive to even your tone of voice. Through trail and error, Sally became a confident girl again!
Sally’s Mission is dedicated to dogs struggling with reactivity and aggression, the passion to help owners help their furry family members. Sally’s Mission is more than dog training, Sally’s Mission is for all the “Sally’s” out there.” - Aubrey Jeffrey
